Château LA BRANDE
From the slopes of Castillon, this wine is proudly representative of the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, with a blend of 67% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot.
Château La Brande is vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, with the same care taken with the vines and the sorting of the harvest.
A long, gentle vinification process is used to extract all the tannic richness, with pumping over and delestage over 25 to 30 days, before running off and pressing.
Malolactic fermentation takes place in concrete vats to preserve all the fruit and freshness of this vintage.
The 12-month ageing period is deliberately divided into several batches: 30% in stainless steel vats without sulphur, 10% in new 400-litre barrels, 30% in 400-litre barrels of one wine, 30% in 500-litre barrels of one wine.
We do everything we can to accompany the fine raw materials we have from the La Brande terroirs, respecting the fruit, to produce a wine that is fruity, crisp and intense…
